Role Overview
Reporting into the Compliance Manager this role will be responsible for Compliance support across the Company. The aim of the role is to provide the liaison between the various parties involved in the compliance process and to provide support and, alongside the Compliance Manager, to ensure that specific regulatory deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
(E.g. the areas of accountability & authority but not at the level of duties or tasks involved in the role)
  • — Working with the Compliance Manager, deliver provision of information and appropriate, timely advice to relevant employees.
  • — Help formulate and maintain Compliance policies and procedures.
  • — To actively implement policies and procedures in the agreed timeframes.
  • — Liaise with other individuals and departments to ensure that business is being conducted in line with regulatory requirements.
  • — To deal with confidential information in a professional and discrete manner.
  • — As required, carry out routine compliance duties in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • — To provide cover when the Compliance Manager is not in the office.

Previous Work Experience
 
Specific Experience Required
  • — Previous role in an Operations capacity, banks processing or banks escalation area.
  • — Operating within a rules and procedures environment.
  • — Adhering and enforcing compliance policy and procedure programmes.
  • — Has had access and dealt with highly confidential information.
  • — Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • — Ability to multitask and organise work effectively.
Additional Desirable Experience
— Compliance experience gained within a relevant industry.
Skills & Knowledge
Educational Requirements
Substantial work based experience, but graduate level or equivalent is desirable
Language skills
European language would be desirable but not essential
IT skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
