Reporting into the Head of Product Development, the Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for insuring that all applications such as but not limited to Trading Systems, Customer Connectivity, Market Data Systems, Post-trade applications, Surveillance and more specifically applications operated by Turquoise under services agreements with third party Organizations are accurately tested. The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure that quality levels are always maintained. Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of engineered applications.

Responsibilities
General Responsibilities (E.g. the areas of accountability & authority but not at the level of duties or tasks involved in the role)	— Role holder follows the procedures and standards from the Company, enforced by the Head of Product Development. — The QA Assurance Engineer is responsible for writing test scripts and test cases in accordance with user cases delivered by the Business Analysts and should have the ability to write user cases independently.

Previous Work Experience
Specific Experience Required	— Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. — Ability to perform specialized testing procedures on software using both automated and non-automated tools. — Strong partnership and relationship building skills. — Strong problem solving abilities. — Demonstrable success in delivering quality software/applications. — Ability to manage deadlines effectively. — Excellent written and verbal communication skills. — Demonstrable Quality Assurance experience. — Extensive experience in a process driven technology environment. — Subject Matter expert in test cases creation, scripts, and use of automated test tools, testing client/server applications. — Experience with full cycle testing including GUI testing, functionality testing, performance and stress testing, system, regression and integration testing.
Additional Desirable Experience	— Start-up/Greenfield or small business experience. — Experience in all phases of software application design, development and testing. — Knowledge of Object Oriented programming methodology. — Experience in Performance Testing in OLTP environments. — Experience in Capital Market within a Broker Dealer or Trading Facility.
Skills & Knowledge
Educational Requirements	Educated to at least degree level with work related qualification a distinct advantage.
Language skills	European language would be desirable but not essential
IT skills	Proficient in Microsoft Office
